    Patricia Swannell at Wakehurst Place, Kew Gardens, London

    Patricia Swannell has completed her commission to create a brick and turf maze and a series of small bronzes, which highlight the conservation work of Kew's Millennium Seed Bank for visitors to the gardens.

    Violence or art installation?

    An art gallery in Marylebone was vandalised in the early hours of this morning. Nothing was taken from jaggedart but a traffic cone was thrown through the window creating an inspiring installation and jagged glass edges which echoed the gallery name. Passers by flocked into the gallery wondering who this new upcoming artist is. If anyone knows, please contact the police.

    Hand-picked twigs, leaves and blades of grass sewn through handmade Japanese washi paper make up the three-dimensional collages on display at jaggedart. Kazuhito Takadoi is a horticulture and art graduate who was born in Nagoya, Japan, where he was surrounded by rich woodland.
